A piece that is more sculpture than console table. Two steel half-circles intersect to form a base with a soft, open silhouette — it looks different from every side, and the light passing between the arcs draws its own pattern on the wall. This light, openwork structure carries a heavy solid-oak top, and that tension between the mass of the wood and the slenderness of the steel is the whole idea.
We bend the arcs from solid flat bar, welding them at the intersection points and grinding the seams flush — you won't find any visible joints or seams here. The top is finished with oil-wax, keeping the grain pattern and natural knots. A steel WeldingZone nameplate is inset into the edge.
It works in an entryway as a welcoming console, behind a sofa as a narrow lamp table, or — as shown in the photos — as a home bar. We make it in three finishes: matte black, chrome and gold chrome.
Photos of the chrome and gold-chrome variants are visualisations based on photography of the black unit. Actual gloss and reflections on the chromed surface may vary — before ordering we're happy to show you a finish sample.
