Dining Table — TRAWERS

A table you sit down at for a long while. A solid-oak top made of wide boards that keep their natural grain and knots, clamped at both ends by steel crossbeams. They gave the table its name and they're what holds the whole thing together — steel bands run across the top, stabilising the wood and closing the composition with a clean, dark line.

We weld the U-shaped legs from thick profile, grinding the joints smooth and powder-coating them matte black. Nothing here wobbles or creaks. The top is finished with oil-wax, which keeps the wood feeling like wood — matte, warm, and resistant to spilled coffee or wine. A steel WeldingZone nameplate is inset into the edge of the frame: the signature of the workshop where the table was made.
